Cancer Communications Activities
The MECC recognises the importance of effective cancer communications. MECC is training qualified representatives from all MECC state members with one objective:
To increase knowledge about, tools for, access to, and use of cancer communications to the public, consumers, patients, survivors, and health professionals with a special focus on diverse populations to accelerate reductions in the Middle East cancer burden
MECC has established an ad hoc subcommittee of professionals who will be initially trained at the National Cancer Institute in cancer communication planning, evaluation, dissemination, and marketing.
A MECC grant, awarded to the Health Sciences Library & Information
