Interactive discussion intermixed with didactic instruction of the 5 Models of Exemplary Leadership: Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, Encourage the Heart. Participants who attended the Leadership training in December can volunteer as group leaders; however, the application of these integral concepts will be tailored in a new way for this conference.

Interactive discussion intermixed with didactic instruction on the topic of advocating for/acting as an effective change agent within your institution. Discuss methods and best practices when implementing procedural changes.

Participants will work in small groups to develop individual implementation plans for the nursing-sensitive patient outcomes addressing symptom management

Each participant briefly articulates their personal implementation plan with the large group


11:45-12:15 Overview of PEP resources and closing remarks from ONS
